New England Patriots wide receiver and kickoff returners coach Troy Brown has been selected to serve as the West team head coach at this year’s 98th East-West Shrine Bowl. As a development tool, the head coach of the New England Patriots, Bill Belichick will serve as supervisor, allowing others on the staff to possibly coach up a level or to coach a new position. Belichick is expected to be at all practices, in addition to the game.
Brown enters his second season as wide receivers, kick returners coach after serving as the running backs, kick returners in 2020. He joined the New England Patriots coaching staff in an NFL Minority Coaching Fellowship position in 2019.
