East-West Shrine Bowl Partners with Intermountain Healthcare for Game Week

The East-West Shrine Bowl™, which supports Shriners Children’s™, is announcing a partnership with Intermountain Healthcare, a team of more than 41,000 caregivers who serve the healthcare needs of people across the Intermountain West. Intermountain Healthcare will be the official healthcare provider for the East-West Shrine Bowl.

“We are proud to have Intermountain Healthcare as a partner during this year’s East-West Shrine Bowl,” said Bob Roller, director of national sports management for Shriners Children’s. “Intermountain Healthcare’s mission is to help people live the healthiest lives possible, and we are thankful to have them here to help keep our players and coaches healthy.”

In addition to serving as the East-West Shrine Bowl’s official healthcare provider throughout game week, providing both physicals and medical care for the teams, the post-game Offensive and Defensive MVP Awards will also be presented by Intermountain Healthcare.

“The East-West Shrine Bowl has a rich history in helping families heal and receive the medical care they desperately need,” said Paul Krakovitz, Intermountain Region President and Chief Operating Officer of Nevada. “We believe in their mission to provide children with advanced quality care, and are proud to support the East-West Shrine Bowl.”

Created in 1925, the East-West Shrine Bowl is the longest running college all-star football game in the nation. An important part of America’s football tradition, the game gives top college players a chance to showcase their talents to NFL scouts and a national television audience. Since 1925, the East-West Shrine Bowl has benefited Shriners Children’s and its mission to improve the lives of children by providing world-class specialty care, regardless of the families’ ability to pay or insurance status.

The 97th East-West Shrine Bowl will kick off at 5 p.m. PST on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, home of the Raiders, and will air live on NFL Network.
