Las Vegas Review Journal Supporting Sponsor of 2022 East-West Shrine Bowl

The East-West Shrine Bowl™, which supports Shriners Children’s™, announces the Las Vegas Review Journal, Nevada’s news leader since 1909, as a supporting sponsor of this year’s game in Las Vegas.

As a partner to the East-West Shrine Bowl, the Las Vegas Review Journal is a supporting sponsor of the game, including this year’s first-ever E-Gaming Night at Hyper X Arena. Additionally, the journal is a supporting sponsor of Media Day at Allegiant Stadium on February 2, which will feature patients of Shriners Children’s, along with a Military Ticket Partner for the game.

“The East-West Shrine Bowl is thrilled to have the Las Vegas Review Journal as a partner during this year’s game,” said Bob Roller, director of national sports management for Shriners Children’s. “Being that this is our first year hosting the Shrine Bowl in Las Vegas, we are proud to be teamed up with the leading news organization in the region, and are thankful for their support of our game and the patients of Shriners Children’s.”

Created in 1925, the East-West Shrine Bowl is the longest running college all-star football game in the nation. An important part of America’s football tradition, the game gives top college players a chance to showcase their talents to NFL scouts and a national television audience. Since 1925, the East-West Shrine Bowl has benefited Shriners Children’s and its mission to improve the lives of children by providing world-class specialty care, regardless of the families’ ability to pay.

“We know the East-West Shriners Bowl is more than just another game,” said Chase Rankin, Review-Journal senior vice president of sales and marketing. “The Review-Journal is proud to have ties to an event with deep community connections that allow all-star players and coaches to interact with Shriners Children’s patients, hear about their stories, and heighten awareness.”

The 97th East-West Shrine Bowl will kick off at 5 p.m. PST on Thursday, Feb. 3, 2022, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, home of the Raiders, and will air live on NFL Network.
